I was tasked to create a map, with graphics, for a "festival day" at the week long conference "Nyhemsveckan 2014". With rather short amount of time to do it I had to keep it simple.
I decided to go for a cartoonish, isometric look. Some icons were a bit tougher to do, like the "impossible ladder" (how do you best illustrate a thin ladder in a small icon!?) , but I'm quite happy over how it turned out in the end.
The end result was printed onAA3 and put up around the festival area, and also smaller stock with, programe and other info about the festival, which was handed out.
