The Backdrop
I was asked to create a backdrop for our new chlidren's ministry called "The Candy factory" ("Godisfabriken" in Swedish). I was given a base concept and about 2 weeks to do it.
The finished render was then printed on a 4x2m (13'1"x6'6") canvas.
Since I mostely do realistic modelling this was a fun challenge: to create something that doesn't have to be based in reallity. I got to use my imagination and come up with something fun and colorful to suite children.
Inspired by the reference image I was given (and TV-programs that I watched as a kid) I let my imagination run free while still keeping it pretty simple.
The containers in the back is labeled with different "tastes": Sweet, Sour(, Salt), Strawberry, Choclate and Fudge.
